Other fluids
Is our collective name for other liquids in workshops and it is primarily washer fluid, coolant, degreaser, detergent and water.
These liquids usually require products in plastic and / or stainless steel as they are more or less aggressive towards different materials.
It is important to remember that when talking about degreasers, there are basically two different variants, a water-based one that is also called alkaline degreaser and a petroleum-based one that is also called cold degreaser. Alkaline degreaser should be handled as "Other Liquids" while cold degreaser should be handled as "Oil".
Windscreen washer fluid is normally based on ethanol or isopropanol and is residual products from, for example, the forest industry or winemaking. The liquid is not "refined" but usually contains residues of other substances that can affect materials and function. During manufacture, water and surfactants are added for improved function.

Mixing pumps
Many of the liquids we refer to in "Waterbased Fluids/Detergents" must be mixed with water to a suitable use solution.
We have solutions with three different techniques for mixing liquids.
Piston pump
Mixing equipment with piston pump is not affected by water pressure and viscosity of the concentrate.
Diaphragm pump
Mixing equipment of diaphragm pump model is affected by the viscosity of the concentrate liquid.
Ejector
Mixing equipment with ejector is affected by water pressure and the viscosity of the concentrate.

Diaphragm pumps
Diaphragm pumps are widely used in industrial liquid transfer applications. The range consists of pumps with a capacity from 20 liters / minute to 250 liters / minute. It is important to check the compatibility between the chemicals to be pumped and the wetted materials in the pumps. There is a large variety of materials available for pump housing, diaphragms and balls / check valves and also the possibility of tailoring a pump to achieve compatibility:
Pump housing: Polypropylene, Acetal, Nickel-plated aluminum , Conductive Acetal, Conductive Polypropylene, Stainless steel
Diaphragm: Acetal, Hytrel®, Teflon® / EPDM, Santoprene®
Seals / other wet parts: Acetal, Teflon®, Viton®, Stainless steel
Our diaphragm pumps have unique solutions with center flow technology and patented air valve. The technology offers the following advantages over traditional diaphragm pumps:
• Reduced pulsation
• Long life for diaphragm
• Short maintenance time during service and repair. All parts can be serviced while the pump is still installed.
• Low weight
• Compact design
• Slight vibration and low noise level
• Low air consumption
• High suction capacity, 6-8 meters depending on liquid
• Maintenance without disconnecting from the distribution line
• High dosing accuracy
• Minimized risk of splashing and spillage when dispensing
